Market Street Bistro wanted to develop a brand of seafood that helped the consumer create a seafood restaurant experience at home. Toni worked with the team and suppliers to develop a brand and product strategy that launched within 6 months of the project kick off. The brand has sustained itself for 14+ years!
Costco was looking to expand their Asian products assortment. Toni worked with a supplier to educate Costco buyers on Chinese, Korean and Japanese culture and products and launched products that continue to be successful items in the marketplace.
Curates Brands has met regularly with buyers on both a regional and national level to develop organic cereals or snacks, successfully identifying key packaging and ingredient components that led to the perfect customer, buyer and supplier synergy.
MEET THE FOUNDER
Toni Attebery
Toni Attebery has 30 years of experience in the consumer packaged goods industry.
Throughout her career she has worked with large companies worth $1Billion as well as entrepreneurs with companies worth $1Million in creating, sourcing, branding and selling products in all major brick and mortar and e-retailers in North America as well as other international countries.
Toni has worked in Japan as the first female expat on a team of three to start a new business model in that country. The team developed a sustainable business model where she learned to love the boutique suppliers that had a passion for bringing their culture to their product.
She sourced products and has traveled to manufacturing plants in United States, Italy, Mexico, Vietnam, Philippines, Hong Kong, India, and Canada working directly with the manufacturers.
Over the years, while working with Chef’s, R&D teams, manufacturers and buyers she’s developed a passion working with entrepreneurs who are nimble enough to create products that buyers want.
Toni founded Curates Brands to offer her wealth of industry experience to entrepreneurs with deeper authenticity, intimacy and communication, acting as a member of their company team.
She enjoys listening to the entrepreneur's ideas and listening to the buyer’s wants and connecting them in a winning partnership.
Curates Brands specializes in Center Store Grocery, snacking candy, perishables, deli food service, general merchandise and seasonal products with suppliers based in the United States and all over the world.
Understanding a retailer’s category and department strategy is her passion. From developing a premium heritage Italian food line, to personal care products, technology, multifaceted pet lines, and much more, Toni sets up brands for success to ensure they are thriving decades into the future.
